A Coffee With a Story

This lot was made specifically for La Tazza by Café Granja La Esperanza in Colombia. We received just 10 kg of this exceptional coffee, making it one of the most limited coffees we’ve offered.

The connection is especially meaningful: Felipe Paz, one of La Tazza’s owners, previously served as a Q-grader at the finca, where he was responsible for quality control of coffee destined for export. That direct relationship with the farm is part of what makes this lot so special. 

In the cup, this washed Geisha is elegant and expressive, with floral jasmine aromatics, soft white-peach sweetness, and lively citrus character. Its silky body keeps the cup refined and balanced, while the bright finish gives it a clean, lingering quality.
